SP#2 Unit E Concept 7 - Graphing Polynomials with Multiplicity

For the Unit E Concept 7 SP#2 we began by creating the factors of the equation. We then continued by distributing the numbers to create our equation. once we had all of our variables we put them all together to create our equation. from there we had to figure out if it was an even positive or any of the other ones and we were assigned to do an even possistive so the end behaviors should be the same and going up.
The part that would be confusing would be the way if the line would go through, bounce or curve. From that you will be able to identify the way that the graph would flow.

SP#1: Unit E Concept 1 - Graphing Parabolas and Identifying Parts

For the Unit E Concept 1 we had to create a parabola. We first began by creating an equation that had an x^2 from there you would continue going down with the powers of the variables. Once you have the equation you will start by putting the equation equal to 0 and then moving the 2 over to the other side. once you have the 2 on the other side you can take out a 4 from the left side and what you do to the left you have to do to the right so you put a 4 on the other side to and you will be multiplying it by the number that you get from completing the square. to complete the square you take the middle number from the equation on the left side then you divide by 2 and then square root it. which that will give you 1.
Once you have the final answer you will pair it up into two sections the parent equation and solved equation. For the parent equation you will just move everything onto one side. To solve you need to completely solve for the equation. From there you will just plot the points that you are given and find if its a max or a min and find your vertex, and your x-intercepts. the hardest part for some people could be solving because there could be mistakes that could be done without noticing.
